2013 EKU PAPER COMPETITION

IIK sponsored a scholarship completion for Eastern Kentucky University students who submitted a paper on a topic related to property and casualty insurance. The scholarship award winners were announced at the Annual EKU Insurance Day on April 16, 2013.

- 1st Place – $1,000 scholarship: “Catastrophe” by Claire Holsapple
- 2nd Place – $500 scholarship: “Property and Casualty Insurance: Insurance Fraud” by John Schmidt
- Honorable Mention: “Flood Insurance in the United States” by Bryan Clontz
